This is a Japanese Barberry has interesting colour changing leaves through out the season and a strong upright habit with a good tolerance to sunburn. Starting with bright orange foliage in the spring it becomes red with a slight yellow edge in the summer before loosing the yellow edge and moving on to bright reds for the autumn.
