The Beautyberry is an upright shrub with mid-green, slightly serrated deciduous leaves starting growing through in spring with a purplish hint and turning a bright rosy pink, red and purple in Autumn. In summer the purple flowers spread up and down the stems giving forth to metallic purple shiny berries which hold throughout the winter on bear stems.
