Callistemon 'Honey Pot' - BCG24 - 7.5Litre

This bottlebrush is an exotic looking plant with long arching stems of green waxy leaves. In spring the Callistemon develops a fluffy tips to the ends of the branches in as the new leaves emerge in soft fluffy tufts at the tips of the branches, these are followed by long, unusually shaped yellow flowers also on the tips of the branches. These flowers are an absolute mecca for butterflies, bees and hover-flies.  This plant does really well in in the garden generally but also succeeds in pots and particularly in hot, dry areas of the garden.
